Valley View Independent School District is a division 4a school located in Hidalgo/Pharr Texas area and is dedicated to the education and well being of the students. A growing community of approximately ten square miles, support the district by actively participating in the education of the students. The district includes four elementary schools, one sixth grade campus, one middle school, and one high school. Valley View is committed to the education of the students and offers advance placement programs, counseling for higher education, after school activities, and other school related programs.

Child Find

Valley View I.S.D. assists in providing for the special education of children who have a disability. Children with disabilities including vision and hearing problems, mental perceptual, speech, language, social and/or emotional disabilities may be eligible for the program. Programs are available for children ages 0-21 years old.

Early education can be critical because of the amount of learning that takes place in the Pre-School years. The Pre-School Program for children with disabilities provides services for children ages 3-5 years old. Early Childhood Intervention provides services for children ages birth to 2.

The goal of V.V.I.S.D. is to identify children with disabilities living in the district.
