No Child Left Behind-P.L. 107-110

Each district receiving assistance under Title I, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (20 U.S.C. 6301 et seq.) must allow a student to attend a safe public elementary or secondary school within the District, including a public charter school, if the student: 1. Attends a persistently dangerous public elementary or secondary school, as defined by the state's education agency; or 2. Becomes a victim of a violent criminal offense while in or on the grounds of the school the student attends.
